The 2025 Mountaineering Season Has Ended
The information below pertains to the 2025 season. Updates regarding reservations for the 2026 season will be announced on the Official Website for Mt. Fuji Climbing.
Those with mountain hut reservations can pass through the gate regardless of restrictions, including gates closing at 2pm or the number of climbers exceeding 4,000. Whether you book your trail gate entrance reservation in advance or not is up to your discretion.
※The 4,000 yen hiking fee is a mandatory fee for all climbers. (This can also be paid at the counter.) Please kindly note this is the reservation for the mandatory hiking fee and not mountain huts.
Payment must be made in full at the time of reservation.

1. I will prepare warm clothing.
2. I will bring separate rain gear.
3. I will bring appropriate footwear for climbing.
4. I will not climb overnight without resting at a mountain hut. (No bullet climbing)
5. I will not wander off from the mountain trail.
6. I will not take lava/plants home.
7. No vandalism. (Graffiti)
8. I will not litter.
9. I understand that there is a risk of falling rocks during climbing.
10. I understand that there is a possibility of volcanic activity and eruption during climbing.
11. Failure to comply with the above terms may result in denial of access to the mountain trail by on-site Mt. Fuji rangers.
