Regarding the "Council for Promoting the Appropriate Use of Mt. Fuji"
The "Council for Promoting the Appropriate Use of Mt. Fuji" (hereinafter referred to as the "Council") was established to promote safe climbing of Mt. Fuji and the appropriate use of Mt. Fuji.
Due to the proliferation of signs and the lack of uniformity in their display, which hindered the provision of appropriate information to users and the formation of a beautiful scenic landscape, the "Mt. Fuji Signage Stakeholders' Liaison Council" was established in 21.
Later, the organization was renamed the "Council for the Promotion of Appropriate Use of Mt. Fuji" and expanded its scope of activities. It now carries out various projects, such as providing information to climbers, to promote safe climbing of Mt. Fuji and conserve the natural environment.
