[Yoshida Trail] Regarding restrictions on climbing Mt. Fuji in 2026
To ensure safe climbing of Mt. Fuji, climbing restrictions have been in place on the Mt. Fuji Yoshida Trail since 2024.

■Hiking Fee: 4,000 yen per person per trip
There are no major changes to the mountain climbing regulations for 2026 compared to last year, but we would like to inform you again.
We kindly request the cooperation of all those involved in climbing Mt. Fuji, including mountaineering organizations, travel agencies, and mountaineering equipment stores, in informing and publicizing this information to climbers.
Please note that the latest information, including access reservations, will be posted regularly on the Official Website for Mt. Fuji Climbing.

■Climbing Season: July 1st to September 10th
(The start may be delayed due to weather conditions or remaining snow.)
■Gate closing time: 14:00 to 3:00 the following day
*Excluding those staying at mountain lodges.
■Maximum number of climbers per day: 4,000

■If you do not have the necessary equipment for mountain climbing, you will not be able to use the descending trail.

◆Equipment required at the 5th station (Winter clothes・Two-piece rain gear・appropriate footwear for climbing ) There is a check,Only for those who own all of them.You can pass through the gate.
◆To prevent dangerous behavior and violations of etiquette in the mountains, please follow the instructions of the Mt. Fuji climbing instructors appointed by the prefecture.
◆If you do not have sufficient knowledge or experience in mountain climbing, please be accompanied by a mountain guide or similar professional.
◆We recommend using our book-in advance service (booking is also possible on the day of the event).
