Live camera

View from Mt. Fuji

  •  This live camera is located at the highest point in Japan, at the former Mt. Fuji weather station on Kengamine Peak (elevation 3,776 meters).
  • 24-hour real-time video streaming on YouTube Live.
  • It operates only for a limited period during the temple's opening season.

  •  If the weather is good, you can see Sagami Bay, the Miura Peninsula, and the Boso Peninsula (the sunrise, the dynamic and ever-changing movement of clouds during the day, and the night view of Gotemba city), and get a sense of what the mountaintop looks like at the moment.

From Kengamine Peak, towards the southern part of the Southern Alps and Nagoya (west).

  •  If the weather is good, you can see the southern part of the Southern Alps and the Nagoya area (the sunset, the dynamic and ever-changing movement of clouds during the day), and get an idea of ​​the current conditions at the summit and the weather forecast.

From Yoshida Trail Yagogoke to the sunrise direction

  • A live camera installed at "the sunrise" mountain hut at the 8.5th station.
  • You can see the changing sky before sunrise, the sunrise itself, the shadow cast by Mt. Fuji, the breathtaking views from an altitude of approximately 3,500m, the weather near the summit, and hikers passing in front of the mountain hut.
  • It operates only during the period when the trail is open.

From Gotemba Trail (Tarobo) to the summit

  •  This live camera is provided by the certified NPO, the Association for the Utilization of the Mt. Fuji Weather Station. It is installed facing the mountain from Tarobo at the foot of Mt. Fuji, allowing you to see the sky above Mt. Fuji from the foot of the mountain.

From the northern foothills (Ministry of the Environment Biodiversity Center)

  • A live camera installed on the roof of the Ministry of the Environment Biodiversity Center, located near the Fuji-Subaru Line tollbooth.
  • A view of the northern face of Mt. Fuji through the trees.

  • A live camera installed at an observation site in the mountain forest at the northern foot of Mt. Fuji.
  • Mount Fuji can be seen through the trees.

Mt. Fuji Skyline near Mizugatsuka

  • A live camera installed on the Mt. Fuji Skyline leading to the Fujinomiya Trail for road management purposes.
  • You can see local weather conditions and road traffic conditions. Live video is updated every minute. (Update times may be delayed due to network conditions, etc., or streaming may be temporarily suspended for maintenance.)
  • Mizugatsuka Park will serve as a shuttle bus stop during the Mt. Fuji Skyline's Private Vehicle Restrictions period. The camera footage shows the area near the park entrance.

From Fujinomiya City

  • A live camera installed on the rooftop of Fujinomiya City Hall.

From Lake Yamanaka

  • A live camera installed at Kirara Exchange Plaza on the shores of Lake Yamanaka.
  • The eastern face of Mt. Fuji can be seen across the lake. In the enlarged view, the Yoshida Trail and Subashiri Trail, as well as mountain huts, are visible. The temperature of Lake Yamanaka is also displayed.
  • Past footage can also be searched using the calendar, allowing you to see recent weather changes and what it was like at the same time last year.

From Shindo Pass

  • Live camera installed at FUJIYAMA Twin Terrace / Shindo Pass in the Misaka Mountain Range.
  • This photo, taken from the north, clearly shows Mt. Fuji and the clouds hanging over it.

From Lake Tanuki

  • A live camera installed at Lake Tanuki, located west of Mt. Fuji.
  • Mount Fuji can be seen across the lake.

From Mount Kintoki

  • A live camera installed at the summit of Mt. Kintoki, the highest peak in the outer rim of the Hakone caldera.
