<If you have a reservation for accommodation at a mountain hut, you will be able to pass through the gate even if restrictions are put in place. Making a reservation is optional.>
*However, mountain hut guests also pay Hiking Fee 4,000Payment in Japanese Yen is required (payment can be made locally).
A Hiking Fee of 4,000 yen must be paid in advance to make a reservation for passage.
Please be sure to review and agree to the following before proceeding.
○Please note that this reservation is for passage (optional) and not a reservation for accommodation at a mountain hut.
○Reservations (with advance payment) can be made up until the day of the climb.
*Reservations will close once the daily limit is reached.
○Even if you have made a reservation (and paid in advance), please note that if you do not pass through the 5th station gate by 2 PM on the day of your visit, you will be subject to restrictions (however, this does not apply to those staying at mountain huts).

●Cancellation fees will apply from two days after the payment date.
●Cancellations due to personal reasons (including delays in public transportation) are non-refundable. Please understand this in advance.
●If you are unable to pass due to reasons attributable to the prefecture, you will receive a refund.

4. Do not attempt overnight climbs without staying in mountain huts (avoid "bullet climbs").
5. Do not stray from the trail.
6. Do not take lava or plants with you.
7. Do not graffiti.
8. Always take your trash home with you.
9. Be aware of the risk of falling rocks when climbing.
10. Climb the mountain knowing that it is an active volcano and there is a possibility of eruption.
11. You agree to climb the trail knowing that if local staff (such as Mt. Fuji rangers) determine that you have violated the above confirmation requirements, they may refuse your use of the descending trail.
12. Check a map beforehand to confirm that the descending trails of the Yoshida Trail and Subashiri Trail diverge near the 8th station.

13. If you are accompanied by someone, explain all of the above points to them and obtain their agreement before climbing.

◆Traffic restrictions
- The gate will be closed from 2 PM to 3 AM the following day.
- The gate will also be closed if the number of climbers per day reaches 4,000.
◆Those passing through the gate are requested to pay a Hiking Fee of 4,000 yen per person per visit for the descending trail.
- Even if you start climbing from a gate other than the 5th station gate, you will be required to pay the hiking fee if you use the descending trail.
- There is no hiking fee for strolling along the O-chūdō trail or sightseeing at the 5th station outside the gate.
◆To prevent dangerous behavior and breaches of etiquette in the mountains, please follow the instructions of the Yamanashi Prefecture Mt. Fuji Climbing Proper Instructions Officers.
◆If you do not have sufficient knowledge or experience in mountain climbing, please be accompanied by a mountain guide or similar professional.
◆Those who do not have sufficient equipment for mountain climbing may not be able to use the descending trail. (Please check the required equipment in advance.)
