This announcement is intended for those who plan to go trail running beyond the 5th station gate during the climbing season.

 

The climbing restrictions apply to both climbers and trail runners. Please ensure you read the details below.

 

Appointed staff at the 5th Station will verify the climbers’ agreement to the terms and conditions made at the time of reservation.
On the other hand, the same applies to climbers who pay the hiking fee at the 5th station.

Please make sure you prepare accordingly and make sure you understand the rules to avoid any issues from arising.

The climbing restrictions do not apply to participants in the Fuji mountain race.
As such, following the terms and conditions listed concerning the hiking fee is up to your discretion; this includes bringing the appropriate gear.
However, the restrictions apply to mountain runners on any other day, with the full understanding and agreement with the terms and conditions shown at the time of purchase of the hiking fee.
