Yoshida Trail Notice: Distribution of Wooden Tags on the Yoshida Route (FY2025)

What is a "Kifuda" (Wooden Tag)?
From 2016 to 2024, wooden tags were created as a Mt. Fuji Conservation Cooperation Certificate.
Made from thinned wood sourced from Mt. Fuji, these tags were crafted at the foot of the mountain and have become a symbolic souvenir of the Yoshida Trail.
Many climbers collect them as commemorative items.

Starting from fiscal year 2025, the Mt. Fuji Conservation Cooperation Fee has been discontinued.
However, the distribution of wooden tags will continue for climbers and visitors.
Climbers are kindly requested to visit the tent next to the toll payment booth and follow the instructions below.
※ Please note that mail delivery is not available.
